Get Outside!

Summer is basically in full swing so it’s time to bask in the great Colorado weather we brag to our midwestern friends about! Just remember to give your fellow outdoors people plenty of space whether you are on the trail or picnicking at the park!

Zach

Paco Sanchez Park in the West Colfax neighborhood park with a towering and expansive play structure, easily the best playground in Denver!  Lots of open green space, perfect for a picnic.

Paul

I love either early morning hikes or sunset hikes at White Ranch Park in Jefferson County, any of the trails have both mountain and city views that are just stunning.

Adam

Crown Hill Park is only 15 minutes from downtown but feels a world away!

Lontario

Nestled in the heart of Sunnyside, Columbus or La Raza Park is a gem that offers numerous events throughout summer, ranging from Native American dancing to car shows. It’s a great spot for a family picnic throughout the week.

DJ

I love hiking Mount Falcon Park. Take the tower trail and find the best view of Denver ever. Moderate trail, bring water and snacks!

Bob

Roxborough State Park…Five main trails ranging from 1.4 to 6.2 miles…easy to moderate hiking

Samantha

Chimney Gulch Trail is a favorite. This is a challenging hike with amazing views as a reward. I like to stop by downtown Golden after for an earned beverage and meal.

Tricia

Alamo Placita Park has the most amazing plants and flowers as well as lots of space to spread out a picnic. Located between Cap Hill and Wash Park it is about as central as you can get but truly beautiful.
